Lily Aldridge Highlights are backI haven’t highlighted my hair since high school—that was the last time my normally dark brown hair was a golden blonde. Francesca EastwoodIt is always great to work with the beautiful and talented Francesca Eastwood. I applied highlights to 1/2 of her head then rinsed. I then applied to her roots Redken Colorgels base #8na/40cc7na/20cc30vol.

Lily Aldridge

aldridge1d710The Ombre, started when Lily Aldridge, a Victoria Secrets model, came to me and asked if I could make her hair look like she did when she was a child. I have known Lily since she was 4 years old. She has always had this gorgeous, rich natural brunette hair that shows streaks of golden highlights when exposed to the sun for a long period of time.[/leading][leading]Check out my video to learn the original technique for Ombre that creates a natural look, not dip dyed.

Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez 1113Isn’t she #Lovely! For the 2013 Video Music Awards, I glossed over Jennifer’s highlights with Redken Shades EQ 8gg+8c = parts 1 minute, just enough to warm up but not go red! It’s so fun to gloss no matter what color line you use. Redken5ave is the only color line that makes glosses.

Emma Stone

Emma Stone 1113When taking a blonde to red, try ShadesEQ cream at the root.  I use 7wn+7gc and 10 volume on the ends, 8c+7gc. If the hair is very porous, fill ends first with 8c only, and don’t forget about clear if you want the hair lighter on the ends!
